Who are we?

Company director Jennifer Lovelock has a BSc Sports Therapy and MSc Physiotherapy. Also, she is HPC registered and a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

With over 6 years of experience, she has worked with a wide range of clients from elite athletes to the general public and the Army. Currently Head of Sports Medicine at Colchester United FC Academy, she has worked in numerous sport settings including for the FA at Wembley and within the England Women’s Football set up.

A keen athlete herself, Jennifer has completed marathons, including the Virgin London Marathon and has competed at high level in gymnastics and Kickboxing, picking up a British Title in 2006.

What do we do?

Your problem/injury will be assessed on an individual basis and we will tailor a treatment and management approach suited to you and your lifestyle. A wide range of treatment techniques are used; including Electrotherapy, Manual Therapy, massage, exercise therapy and taping techniques. Jennifer is qualified in Kinesio Taping and finds it helpful in the treatment of overuse injuries i.e. Achillies Tendinopathy. We maintain our skills and keep our knowledge up to date with regular attendance at courses, conferences and discussions with other health professionals.

We pride ourselves on giving each patient the tools and the knowledge to manage their own condition, and compliment that with our appointments. We also offer support to patients away from the clinic to ensure they continue the good work from home.

If we feel you will be benefit from another route of treatment then we will not hesitate to refer you so you can get the problem sorted as quickly as possible.

Our Chelmsford base is at the Toe Zone Clinic, where we compliment the current professional service provided by Katherine.

Some morning appointments are available subject to clinic and staff availability
